CALL FOR APPLICATIONS TO FILL RESEARCH POSITION

Applications are invited for a following research position at Eyestem Research Private Limited, C-CAMP, NCBS-TIFR Campus, Bangalore. The recruited scientist will be involved in genetic manipulation and gene editing including correction of diseased iPSC-lines and their differentiated derivatives for disease modelling, drug screening and personalised cell therapy.

Position
Research Associate or Research Scientist

Qualification
Ph.D in any branch of Life Sciences with 3-5 years of post-doctoral experience

Duration
Initial 6 months on probation and extension on performance

Desired requirements

• Strong background in mammalian cell and tissue culture techniques preferably using stem cell cultures
• Hands-on experience in cloning techniques like overexpression of genes using lentivirus, adenovirus, episomal vectors, SiRNA/ShRNA etc. and gene editing tools like ZFN, TALEN, CRISPR/Cas9
• Committed, goal oriented, ready to work closely with a team targeting stringent timelines
